Perfect Brownies from the Perfect Brownie Pan!

It’s a shame that I can’t find my very own Perfect Brownie Pan.

For this, I borrowed my friend’s pan. And have put the Perfect Brownie Pan on my list for Santa this year (or my birthday since it’s like days after Christmas…)

She only asked for brownies in return – which is doable, since the Perfect Brownie Pan makes 18 perfectly square brownies… (12 for us*, 6 for them)

*(I made these brownies for my 2 yr old’s party with just our family)

She's happy b/c she has a plate of brownies in front of her!

The pan is super easy to use – however you do have to make sure you cover every surface with Pam or Crisco Spray. But it’s worth it!

Use your favorite brownie mix, bake, and VOILA… serve 18 PERFECT little brownies!

I recommend this to you, your friend and your friend’s friends.

It’s worth the $19.95 (and s+h) – especially since you can make so much more with it!  The possibilities are endless…

The worst thing about this – is that I may make too many brownies, and eat them all… oh, and I burned by thumb by rushing to get them out of the pan… they just smelled SO good!

You can buy it online at https://www.perfectbrownie.com/

9 pm.

On the dot.

Every night.

I crave something. snacky. salty. sweet. just something.

I hate filling up on something
“too much” right before bed.

This past grocery shopping trip, as I walked down the crunchy snack aisle – I looked low (which I typically don’t do)… and found H.K. Anderson’s Ultra Thin Honey Stix (and their Pretzel Bites in Pizza – UM- YUM!!!) H.K. Anderson is a company that’s been around since 1888 and located in Lancaster, PA… (seems like lots of good stuff comes out of Lancaster…)

They are so light and just the right touch of sweet and salty. It’s the perfect late night snack…Per-Fect!

I love how thin they are too… they’re fun to eat and a handful fills my crunchy-snacky craving at 9 pm.

I purchased these at my local Meijers. However, I know that you can get them at Costco, Sam’s Club and Tops… But if you go to their website and click on Where to Buy (http://www.hk-anderson.com/locations.html)  you can print off a form and drop it off at your grocery store’s customer service desk…

I paid $1.99 for the Ultra Thin Honey Stix. The added bonus is that my kids LOVE them too…Love-Love them.

Obviously, with all the Love-Love going around in this post – I recommend them to you, your friends and your friend’s friends.

Bloody-Mary-Drink

Since I am proclaimed as the boody mary person I thought it appropriate to tell what my favorite is right off the bat.

I’m simple, I don’t need (or know for that matter) of any high-class mixes so here goes…

There’s something about a bloody mary that reminds me of Vegas…maybe it was the DAY (yes, I said it – DAY) I spent in The Rio Hotel and Casino in Vegas with some really good buds.  Playing black-jack and just making memories with the dealers and pit bosses as they changed several times when we were there.

The closest thing I can come to recreating the ones I had sittin’ at the black-jack table is using Mr. and Mrs. T’s Rich and Spicy Bloody Mary mix.  Not overly spicy and you add some green olives and a stalk of celery and there you have it.  Simple and good.

Depending on where you buy this mix it ranges in price from $4- $7.

This is recommended to you, your friends and your friend’s friends in my book.

ENJOY!

Middle Sister Wines

All the Middle Sisters

Review of: Middle Sister Wines

i love wine. i love any kind of wine.

the clincher is if the wine is good and the bottle is cute.

Middle Sister Wines meets both of my criteria.

Tasty & Cute

I’ve tried all of them:

Rebel Red Wine Blend

Wicked White Wine Blend

Drama Queen Pinot Grigio

Forever Cool Merlot

Mischief Maker Cabernet Sauvignon

Smarty Pants Chardonnay

Each has a story.

What I prefer… whites…

My favorite  is their Wicked White.

I recommend this to you and your friends, and your friend’s friends -

I’m not a middle sister (I’m the oldest)… but what sister doesn’t have a little bit of middle sister syndrome in her…

I purchased these at Target for about $12 a bottle. Totally worth it.

You can learn more about Middle Sister Wines by visiting their website at: http://www.middlesisterwines.com/

And you can follow Rebel Red on Facebook… she’s kind of funny, like that.

And… BONUS… Go to Middle Sister Wines web site and take their “which sister are you quiz”…Subscribe to our Blog and Leave the test results below and we’ll randomly select one winner to win a bottle of their sister-wine.

Re-tweet (@MeganEveritt) and leave that as a comment here too… and we’ll give ya another opportunity to wine!

Cheers!

…the birth of better buy…

like most women, in our roles as Mom/Wife/Friend… we relay information.

we tell of the new product, the cool gadget and the better buy.

we share the details of a product gone bad or a dinner disaster…

we share that information with who ever is within earshot…

be it your friend on the other side of the cell phone or the woman in the grocery aisle standing next to you.

this is a conversation my best friend, and co-writer of “better buy it blog”, Amy, and I have on a daily basis.

and that is why we’ve decided to start this blog – to share the “better buy” that we “better buy” …

because, really, who couldn’t use a better buy?

we’ve known each other since 6th grade, took latin together in high school, we’re moms of small children, we’re living on budgets, we have husbands who ask why we went to the grocery store, again, after we were just there the other day… we’re real people…and we like to talk the talk…

we’re not paid for any of this – and as of today, there’s no swag rolling in for product reviews (maybe some day?!) we’re just doing it because we like to share. We’ll cover everything from food to toys to clothes to services… if it’s out there, we’ll cover it!

we’re looking forward to hearing from you, finding out what you like, what you don’t like, what products work awesome and what products should be avoided. we’re looking forward to sharing with you products we like, products we don’t like and … you get the picture!

the rating system we’ll use will be simple…

The top of the rating system will be recommended to you and your friends, and your friend’s friends… It’s the Perfect 10 in the rating world.

Middle of the road is a recommendation to you, and your friends – right around the 5 mark.

The lowest rating will be a recommendation to you – eh, 1…but a good kind of 1.

That makes it nice and fair with out bad mouthing something… It’s about being Better… if it’s not better…it’s not blogged.
